Removing Bot Accounts

Platform admins can remove a bot account and the workspaces it owns. Organization admins cannot use this action.

  1. Open Admin > Users.
  2. Search for the account email.
  3. Open the user menu and select Destroy bot account. You can also use this action on the user detail page.
  4. Check the account email and the list of workspaces.
  5. Enter the account email to confirm.
  6. Select Destroy bot account.

The action deletes the login, sign-in credentials, sessions, and saved workspace records. It also removes API keys, webhooks, and invitations created by the user. Subscriptions stop and open subscription checkouts expire before records are deleted. Past invoices stay in Stripe. The action creates no refund or final invoice.

A workspace can be removed only when this user is its sole member and owner. If the account has shared workspace access, the action is blocked. Use Ban User and review its memberships first. Your own account and platform admin accounts cannot be destroyed with this action.

Deletion is permanent. If the workspace list changes after the preview, refresh the account details and review the list again.

If billing cannot stop, account records are kept. Billing might already have stopped for some workspaces. Check the error and retry the action.
